About the film

Longline:

Revenge, betrayal, and murder turns young Tia’s world upside down as a killer is determined to destroy her.

Synopsis:

Tia is 18 with a chip the size of Atlanta on her shoulders. She spent most of her young life in foster care and the rest running the streets with her best friend Melvin. Melvin has always been bad news and Tia’s older sister Dana expresses this every chance she gets. With almost two decades between them, Dana feels responsible for her sister and a bit guilty for not taking her in when she was in the position to do so. Now Tia is an adult and Dana is having the hardest time breaking down her sister’s walls. The streets have a tight grip on her sister and Dana, being a detective with the Atlanta Police Department, refuses to let her sister be swallowed. But her intervening may have come a little too late. For there is a killer stalking Tia and Melvin is right there in the middle of things.

Our Story:

Our team has worked with one another on various projects. We are all creators and with that comes, the equipment needed, talent, and most importantly, results.

Why this Film:

Many films are shot in Atlanta, but few take place in Atlanta. We are ecstatic to tell a story showcasing the city and take viewers on a journey that highlights the culture that attracted most to the area. With the political climate that America is facing, we wanted to tell a story full of perspectives. Our mission is to take our audience through the shoes of many, the cop, the thug, the husband, the wife. We strive to tell character driven stories that not only take our viewers on an emotional ride but enlighten them as well.

What We Need:

Funding of course.  The average Indie film is budgeted around 750K, but we are able to do ours at 40K. Why? Because we are an equipment ready team, who knows the area, and have pooled our resources. Most of the contributions made will go towards locations, talent, and crew. The rest towards production expenses that includes food and props.

What You Get:

Some things we are offering those who contribute include an executive producer credit along with creative contribution, a chance at a supporting role, a private screening link upon completion, and exclusive paraphernalia.
